Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chowdhury Iqbal Mahmud

Associate Professor Dr. Chowdhury Iqbal Mahmud is an Orthopedic Surgeon with 28 years of experience. He completed his MBBS degree and then earned his FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, and another FRCS from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He also completed his Master’s of Orthopedic Surgery (MChOrth) from the University of Dundee, Scotland. Over his long career, Dr. Chowdhury Iqbal Mahmud has worked in organizations such as Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU). He did fellowship training in Arthroscopy, Joint Replacement, and Sports Medicine in Singapore, Korea, and Taiwan. He also got FACS (USA), FICS (USA), and FRSM (UK) degrees.
