Dr. Md Shah Maruf Morshed is a dedicated oncologist specializing in radiation oncology, committed to delivering advanced, evidence-based cancer treatment. With a strong academic background, he obtained his MBBS, qualified for BCS (Health), and pursued an MD in Radiation Oncology. He is also in the final phase of his FCPS (Radiotherapy).
Currently serving as an Assistant Registrar at Kushtia Medical College Hospital, Dr. Morshed has gained extensive clinical expertise in managing head & neck, breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and pediatric cancers, as well as palliative radiotherapy. He received specialized training at the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH), Bangladesh, and Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, India, where he honed his skills in modern radiotherapy techniques.
As an active member of leading oncology societies, including ESMO, ASTRO, IPROS, ICOS, and BSRO, Dr. Morshed stays at the forefront of emerging advancements in cancer treatment. His research interests include precision radiotherapy, proton therapy, and integrating immunotherapy with radiation.
Passionate about patient-centered care, he is dedicated to enhancing cancer treatment accessibility in Bangladesh while mentoring young doctors and advocating for early diagnosis and treatment strategies.
