PROF. KHAIR AHAMED CHOUDHURY

Prof. Khair Ahmed Choudhury received his basic medical training from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and specialisation (MS) in ophthalmology from National Institute Of  Ophthalmology & Hospital, Dhaka under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

• Obtained his FRCS from Glasgow and FRCS from Edinburgh UK.
• Completed fellowship in Pediatric  Ophthalmology and Strabismology from Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
• Did training in Phacosurgery from Bikash Mahthme Eye bank Eye Hospital, Nagpur,  India.
• Trained in Pediatric Glaucoma from Aravaind Eye Hospital, Madurai, India.
• Worked as Asst.Professor in  Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical college & Hospital.
• Presently working as Professor  & Head, Dept.Of  Pediatric Ophthalmology , National Institute Of Ophthalmology, Dhaka.
• Involved in teaching and research activities in the Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismology  &  Adult cataract services. His research works have been presented at various national and international forums.
